A Warm Welcome for People Living with Parkinson’s

Hullbridge Parkinson’s Cafe is a local Parkinson’s support group in Essex, created to bring people together for friendship, conversation and community. We understand that living with Parkinson’s can sometimes feel isolating, which is why having a local place to connect with others can make a real difference.

Whether you are newly diagnosed, have been living with Parkinson’s for many years, or care for someone who has it, you are very welcome to join us.

Who Can Attend?

There is no pressure and no formal process — just a friendly, informal atmosphere where people can meet, chat and feel understood.

What to Expect at the Café

At Hullbridge Parkinson’s Cafe, visitors can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, relaxed conversation and the company of others who understand the challenges of Parkinson’s.

Some people come to socialise, some come to listen, and some simply want to know they are not alone. However you choose to take part, you will be made to feel welcome.

First Time Visiting?

You are not alone in feeling unsure. Many people come for the first time just to see what it’s like.

There is no pressure to speak or participate — you are welcome to simply sit, have a cup of tea, and take things at your own pace.

Activities and Community

We believe that community, movement and staying mentally engaged all play an important part in living well with Parkinson’s. Over time, our members have enjoyed a range of activities, including social mornings and gentle movement sessions such as Tai Chi and Quizes.
